Mobile Team Supervisor
Job Description
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Mobile Team Supervisor in Valdosta, GA. This position is responsible for overseeing phlebotomy functions and for ensuring the assigned team functions as a cohesive unit.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual team collection goals
- Oversee assigned team’s donor collection functions including recruitment and adherence to quality standards
- Oversee and perform the recruitment, registration, examination, donor interview and phlebotomy of volunteer blood donors
- Motivate and educate team members, establish and maintain positive team morale and foster operational cooperation within the district and region
- Ensure blood drives operate safely, smoothly, efficiently and effectively
- Display positive customer service skills to both internal and external customers
- Successful completion of CDL training program and state CDL licensing
- Drive bloodmobiles
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements
- Must have consistent and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Knowledgeable in a variety of computer software applications
- Ability to work in a variety of physical environments and minor physical activity including standing and lifting
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- One year of phlebotomy experience
- Two to three years of previous supervisory experience
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 125 hospitals in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. With more than 30 donor centers, 50 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
