The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the organization's long-term mission and goals through effective talent management. The VP of HR collaborates with executive leadership to align human resources initiatives with the overall business strategy. This role involves overseeing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, compliance, retirement, human resources information/management systems and training.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals and identify ways to support them through talent management.

Identify key performance indicators for HR and talent management, assessing the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.

Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.

Provide guidance and leadership to the HR management team, assisting with resolving HR, compensation, and benefits queries, concerns, and issues.

Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.

Support employees in the consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices.

Address inquiries and investigations promptly and accurately to assist clients and employees with employment-related issues and requests.

Advise on compensation, including new hires, promotions, and performance reviews, while monitoring market trends.

Oversee onboarding and training programs, aligning them with company goals.

Coordinate training workshops for employees to develop new skills and introduce efficient practices.

Manage the organization?s retirement plan as Plan Administrator.

Oversee human resources information/management system and assess future HR-related IT solutions.

Draft and implement the staffing budget and the HR department budget.

Supervise HR Business Associate and prepare the department for growth.
