Accounting Instructor – Adjunct Faculty (On-site Only)
Rivier University’s Division of Business and Security Studies seeks a qualified, credentialed candidate for Accounting Instructor – Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Business programs and Director of Graduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing accounting, related courses with on-campus, face-to-face instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The successful candidate will join the core Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of students, with the following primary responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Business programs and Director of Graduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing accounting, related courses with on-campus, face-to-face instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join the core Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of students, with the following primary responsibilities:
- Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face teaching and learning model;
- Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week. Graduate one daytime and/or evening class meeting per week;
- Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the integration of technology throughout all program experiences; and
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, both in the division and throughout the University.
Qualifications (minimum requirements are listed):
- Master's degree is required, a terminal degree in Accounting related or highly related field is preferred. These fields may include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Accounting for Managers;
- Additional professional certifications and credentials may include: CPA or CMA;
- The successful candidate will have college-level teaching, academic program, and curriculum development experience; and
- The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University and to work collaboratively and collegially with departmental and institutional colleagues.
