As an HR Specialist, you will play a vital role in our organization's success by supporting our employees and ensuring that our HR policies and procedures are being followed. This is a critical position that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct employee training sessions on HR-related topics
  • Orient new staff to Personnel Policies and other relevant policies and procedures, as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure that they are up-to-date
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management on areas for improvement
  • Assist in management of Benefit plans

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Ethical conduct and demonstrated ability to maintain employee and agency confidentiality.
  • Computer skills sufficient to enter and manage data and develop reports.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Analytical skills sufficient to evaluate employee relations and agency policies and procedures and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Pass the Agency's background check.
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency's insurance carrier.
  • work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance
