Job Description
This position exists to provide direction, supervision and general administration of the Financial Aid Department, the Registrar’s Office, and institutional research. This position is responsible for the awarding, coordination, administration and fiscal management of student aid programs.
Required Qualifications
- Effective supervisory, financial management, and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem analysis, process improvement, and decision making skills.
- Working knowledge of state and federal financial aid regulations and policies.
- Working knowledge of microcomputers and related software, particularly relational databases such as: Access, Power BI, spreadsheet and word processing, financial aid packaging software, and communication packages.
- Broad knowledge of financial aid related technologies and their applications such as optical imaging, electronic data interchange, kiosks, World Wide Web, and interactive voice response.
- Working knowledge of FERPA guidelines for the provision and retention of student records and all related state and federal legal requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or greater in Finance or related field
