Position Details:
Use electrophysiolgic, activity-based and molecular approaches to make important contributions to understanding how endocannabinoids, opioids, and other transmitters regulate specific aspects of food and drug intake. Receive technical training and active mentorship. Required Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have earned a PhD in Neuroscience or related field, be fluent in written and spoken English, and will be self-motivated, willing to learn, and a good team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in electrophysiology and/or stereotaxic surgery and have a strong understanding of the physiology of motivated behaviors, energy balance regulation, and/or opioid actions.

Annual Salary:
$60,000 - $71,000
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.

This is a temporary position expected to end on December 31, 2025. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
