Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Serve as a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Banking. This is a full-time teaching appointment with opportunity for promotion and merit pay increases. Primary teaching duty is financial spreadsheet modeling. Teaching duties may also include courses in business finance and/or financial markets and institutions. Teaching load is four courses per semester with teaching some online courses expected.
This is a nine-month appointment (additional summer teaching a possibility). The appointment is effective for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
Educational Requirements for the Position
An earned Masters or Doctoral degree in Finance or related field.
Experience Required for the Position
Industry /Academic experience in Finance and/or a related sector, preferably in using / developing financial spreadsheet models.
Other Requirements for the Position
Evidence of actual or potential success in teaching and professionalism is expected.
