North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world. We are a non-profit organization and since 1944, the League's mission has been saving the lives of pets through adoption, rescue and advocacy initiatives. Every year, the League reaches across the country to rescue, nurture and adopt nearly 18,000 pets into happy and loving homes. Over the years, the League has placed more than 1.1 million puppies, kittens, cats and dogs into carefully screened homes.
We are currently seeking a full-time Post Quality Care Associate Driver to ensure, through home visits, the safety and happiness of all animals adopted by the League and that the adopters are compliant with the terms of the adoption contract. In addition, Quality Care Associates are expected to identify and document potential problem adoptions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct post adoption in-home follow-up visits.
- Counsel and educate adopters.
- Identify and document potential problem adoptions.
- Process all paperwork on assignments as directed by the manager.
- Respond to calls, emails, and other forms of inquiries.
- Transporting animals for veterinary appointments.
- Aiding in the search for missing pets.
- Meet goals set forth by departments manager.
- Maintain league vehicles and equipment (i.e. keep vehicles and equipment clean, submit vehicle maintenance requests, and maintain GPS and cell phones).
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Interact with outside agencies as needed.

Requirements:
- Associate must be at least 23 years of age and have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
- You must maintain a clean driving record during your employment.
- Positive and friendly attitude, Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Data Entry.
- Good communication, organizational and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work inter-departmentally throughout the organization.
- Excellent time management.
- Knowledge of, or previous experience in animal welfare is preferred but not required.
- Strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of animals and to be a part of NSALA’s misson of rescue, nurture, adopt and educate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
