Overview and Responsibilities:
Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota invites candidates to apply for a 3-year fixed-term, annually renewable faculty position in Management, Strategy, and related Business disciplines, which will begin in August 2024, or with the availability of the right candidate. The standard teaching load is 22-24 credit hours per contract year, with a 3-4 or 4-4 in-person class load. Classes may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: Principles of Management, International Business Environments, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Micro/Macroeconomics, and more based on strengths of the applicant and needs of the department. This is a 9-month, on-campus position within the undergraduate Business and Communication Department located in Winona, MN.
The successful candidate must possess an MBA or related master’s degree in business. A Ph.D., DBA, or related doctoral degree is strongly preferred. Significant academic and professional experience in management is also preferred. Candidates should possess knowledge and skills in learning strategies, instructional technology, and content delivery. - Doctorate in a related discipline from an accredited university is preferred.
- MBA, or other related business master’s degree is required.
- Strong record of accomplishment in college-level teaching in a full-time or adjunct role.
- Five or more years of management or related business experience.
- May consider other acceptable equivalent combinations of training and experience.
