About Us:
Valley VNA Senior Nursing Care, a leading provider of assisted living and elder care services, seeks a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization. As a non-profit senior healthcare facility located in the heart of the community, Valley VNA is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their families.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will assume overall accountability for the leadership and strategic direction of Valley VNA Health Systems, Inc. The successful candidate will embody our mission, uphold our values, and drive the organization toward continued excellence in resident care, financial stability, staff engagement, and community outreach.
Primary Responsibilities:
Resident Care and Satisfaction:
- Ensure prompt and compassionate resolution of resident needs and concerns.
- Maintain open communication channels with residents and their families to ensure satisfaction.
Occupancy and Marketing:
- Position Valley VNA as the preferred resource for assisted living and elder care services in the community.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and families.
Community and Donor Relations:
- Act as the primary spokesperson for Valley VNA, building solid relationships with the community and stakeholders.
- Cultivate relationships with existing supporters and engage with potential new donors to ensure ongoing financial support.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure financial stability and transparency.
- Implement efficient financial practices to support the organization's mission and goals.
Staff Recruitment and Retention:
- Lead efforts to recruit and retain qualified and compassionate staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, providing professional development opportunities for employees.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high care standards and compliance with regulations.
Facility Quality and Maintenance:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, resident care, and facility maintenance, to ensure high-quality services.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and regulated assisted living.
- Strong business, facility operations, and financial acumen.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Capacity to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Regular interaction with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Gerontology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications in healthcare administration or senior care are advantageous.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in healthcare or assisted living, including memory care.
- Proven strategic planning, financial management, and staff leadership track record.
- Experience in non-profit management and fundraising is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
