As a non profit organization, 4KIDS has been serving children and families across 13 Florida counties for over 27 years.

 

• Provide spiritual leadership
  • Set the spiritual climate of the organization
  • Promote the spiritual health of the organization
  • Lead weekly devotion meetings as assigned
• Lead vision casting and strategic planning
  • Develop and foster the vision (authentically Christian, continuum of care, advocacy, extension of the local church)
  • Plan and implement the communication of the vision to staff, donors, board, and the community at large
  • Maintain 4KIDS core values and the strong culture of the ministry
  • Lead the leadership team in developing and implementing short and long term goals
  • Lead expansion of the 4KIDS model
• Lead development strategy
  • Fund raise to support the vision (major donors/events)
  • Lead fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with donors, foundations, and government
• Provide board leadership and staff management
  • Meet 1-on-1 with board members to cultivate engagement
  • Lead annual board retreat
  • Lead executive committee with the board chairman
  • Lead innovation and best practices within leadership at 4KIDS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
• Strong commitment to the culture and statement of faith of 4KIDS
• Minimum 5 years experience leading a non-profit ministry preferred
• Social service experience preferred
• Proven track record working with a Board of Directors, policymakers and funders with the ability to cultivate new and existing relationships preferred
• Demonstrated success in fundraising
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
• Availability to travel and work evenings and/or weekends as needed
