About Sandy Hook Promise
Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to end school shootings, and create a culture change that prevents violence and other harmful acts that hurt children. Through its life-saving evidence-informed Know the Signs prevention programs, SHP educates and empowers youth and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be socially isolated and/or at risk of hurting themselves or others. SHP is a moderate, bipartisan organization that supports sensible policy solutions that address the human side of gun violence and make schools safer.
SHP is led by several family members whose loved ones were killed in the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

About the Role
As the Manager of Partner Success, you will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with educational partners to drive success and growth within the K-12 education sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that partners are supported, engaged, and equipped with the necessary resources to effectively implement and utilize SHP programs and provide ongoing support with how to strengthen existing implementations. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally within the SHP organization. This position reports to the Director, Partner Success. This position requires up to 25% travel.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for program implementation
- Manage a portfolio of mid- to large-population K-12 partners in the region (US West, Central, or East)
- Manage a prescribed cadence of implementation and ongoing account management and cross-sales activities for partners in assigned portfolio
- Work closely with Business Development and Implementation teams to steward partners through the contracting and implementation processes
- Develop knowledge of full suite of SHP offerings
- Provide first-tier support for partners using SHP products and services
- Ensure school districts onboard SHP programs with fidelity, manage district partnerships and serve as the implementation relationship owner for SHP partners
- Gather, monitor, and record implementation success metrics at regular intervals; document these metrics and all significant customer interactions
- Adhere to established criteria for conducting partner success meetings tailored to specific market segments ensuring alignment with partner’s needs, goals, and objectives
- Utilize comprehensive product knowledge to provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, trouble-shooting issues and offering tailored solutions
- Collaborate with district and school leaders to support partners in achieving key performance indicators aimed at improving student well-being and safety
- Monitor regional trends impacting gun violence prevention practices
- Work in collaboration with Business Development team and Implementation team to take a partner-centric approach to ongoing support and coordinate training
- Coordinate Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) Promise Club implementation with school advisors
- Work with grants team and finance team to ensure grant compliance and monitor and track progress according to grant policies and procedures
- Have a basic understanding of data literacy and willingness to use and refer to data
- Other duties as identified given organizational needs

- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with positive energy, a sense of resourcefulness, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to work independently
- Quick learner with demonstrated ability to use various types of technology, knowledge of Salesforce and presentation platforms a plus
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely and report in through a remote, de-centralized staffing structure; previous experience working remotely highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of how role and work fits into an organization and its mission
- Knowledge of grant funding guidelines a plus
- Willing and able to travel as required (up to 25%)
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
(SHP follows a strict internal rubric to help guide salary placement and ensure equitable pay amongst new hires and current staff. New hires should expect to be brought on at the start of the range, except in extenuating circumstances.)
