Salary and Benefits
This position is in a Salary Grade PM5, with a minimum salary of $60,348 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

General Description
The Navigator is embedded in assigned high schools to support Early College students with dual enrollment and the development of their career and educational pathway goals. The purpose of this position is to network, build and foster relationships with prospective Early College students and their families, high school teachers, counselors and administrators, community organizations and business and industry leaders. Navigator will advise Early College students and create student plans for academic and career success in accordance with grant requirements.
Normal work schedule for this position is 12 months with occasional evening or weekend hours. This position will require regular travel to assigned high schools in the region. This position will be split between select high schools in Dakota and Thurston counties and South Sioux City Extended Campus.

Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.

Qualification:Experience
Over one year up to and including 3 years experience in a related field.

Qualification:Skills
Work requires contacts with management personnel from other departments, including coordinators, directors, chairpersons, and assistant deans. Contacts may require the consideration of different points of view to reach agreement. Elements of persuasion may be necessary to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas.
