Your Role

The Lifestyle Medicine Markets Growth team delivers on the member and client growth strategy inclusive of brand development, marketing, employer markets, business development and strategic partnerships. The Lifestyle Medicine Market Solutions, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Lifestyle Medicine Markets Growth. In this role you will be accountable to lead the strategic planning and execution for omnichannel communications strategy for Blue Shield's award-winning Wellvolution Lifestyle Medicine product suite that leverages strategy and planning, messaging, thought leadership, and executive communications. This role requires a strong understanding of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) marketing and business development to drive growth through our Provider Group and Employer Group channels.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Work to develop and define the lifestyle medicine value proposition specific to employer and provider markets and socialize with leadership
  • Lead multi-channel Provider Groups and Employer Group facing marketing initiatives through strategy building, pilot and campaign development, and opportunity analysis
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy plans to grow Lifestyle Medicine programs through the Provider and Employer Group channels
  • Collaborate closely with Blue Shield Clinical, Quality, Sales and Account Management teams to develop communication plan and collaterals to promote Lifestyle Medicine programs, products/services value and enable clinical and business objectives
  • Liaise with Blue Shield Operations and Clinical Quality program teams, and our external vendors to identify opportunities to create referral paths for Lifestyle Medicine programs
  • Manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, supporting client presentations, and training for internal Sales and Account Management and other internal stakeholders
  • Prioritize marketing strategies, initiatives and workload proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Lifestyle Medicine program to health and benefit buyers/decision makers and healthcare providers and clinicians
  • Proactively seek and identify new opportunities to partner with Provider Groups and Employer Groups to drive enrollment into Lifestyle Medicine programs

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Business-to-business sales experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead implementation of key provider and client-facing initiatives, informed by provider and client needs and industry trends, and develop data-driven product deliverables with relevant measurable KPIs is preferred
  • Proven history and ability of influencing and engaging successfully with senior management, key internal and external stakeholders, decision makers and peers is preferred
  • Strong speaking, presentation, written communication, situational storytelling, negotiation, and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate across health care buyers and health care providers is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and growing business-to-business-to-consumer channels in digital programs is preferred
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to details is preferred

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $96,470.00 to $144,760.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
