Chemistry - Student Worker
Job Description
- Maintains records of the chemical inventory in the chemistry lab.
- Performs maintenance checks of safety equipment and reactive materials in the chemistry lab.
- Assists the Natural Sciences lab technician with setting up and taking down experiments for chemistry course laboratories.
- Cleaning glassware and other lab materials.
- At times, this position will require testing and troubleshooting new chemical lab procedures for their effectiveness.
- Must demonstrate ability to be organized, to sort materials properly, use Excel to maintain and organize an inventory, and work safely.
- 2 semesters of college-level chemistry with a lab and a course that uses spreadsheet software.
