Description

Snow College, is looking for a Part-Time Financial Clerk in the Controller's Office in Richfield.

Qualifications

 

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent, college degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient keyboarding and 10 key skills.
  • Competent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word (experience with accounting software preferred).
  • Ability to operate printer, copier, fax machine, etc.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic and mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with people in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and goals of the College.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted.

 

Major Responsibilities/Duties

 

  • Responsible for posting transactions to student accounts and processing departmental deposits daily.  
  • Operate cash drawer, computer terminal, adding machine, credit card machine, and calculator to perform work.
  • Balance records at end of workday.
  • Prepare Daily Cash Report at end of each workday in conjunction with balancing drawer.
  • Handle cash, checks, provide customer service, and answer questions.
  • Process incoming mail and record in proper accounts.
  • Perform related duties as required.
