Political Science Adjunct Faculty
Job Description
FUNCTION: Adjunct faculty will provide instruction and service in support of college policies and procedures, along with participation in professional development opportunities.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a Master’s degree in political science, comparative politics, government studies, international relations, or Public Administration; OR a Master's degree plus 18 graduate semester hours in political science, comparative politics, government studies, international relations, or Public Administration.
NOTE: Graduate course work in other fields (Public Administration) will be considered only if course work is relevant to topics in Political Science.

In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for this position, all prospective adjunct faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:

- Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom.

- Ability to teach in-person, on-campus courses.
PRIMARY TEACHING NEEDS:
Priority will be given to candidates with in-person teaching availability. In person, on-campus courses are taught a variation of days (Monday through Friday) on Main Campus in Tallahassee, Florida.
