POSITION SUMMARY
The People Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of the People & Culture department, supporting key HR functions such as talent acquisition, benefits administration, wellness initiatives, retirement plan processing, and payroll backup. Strict confidentiality and compliance with all applicable employment laws are crucial. Spanish bilingual skills are highly desirable to support a diverse workforce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition
- Manage full cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to streamline recruitment, source candidates, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct background checks and manage the offer process.
Performance Metrics:
- Time-to-fill rate of 31 days or less.
- Maintain candidate satisfaction rate of 85% or higher.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Develop strategies to enhance employee experience through recognition, surveys, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Performance Metrics:
- Employee engagement score of 75% or higher.
- Implement at least two engagement initiatives per year.
Confidentiality
· Handle sensitive employee information, such as compensation, performance, and personnel issues. Maintain discretion in compliance and employee relations.
Performance Metrics:
- Zero breaches of confidentiality or data security incidents.
HR Administration
- Assist with developing policies and procedures, onboarding, and providing HR-related support. Support performance management, including goal setting and performance reviews.
Compliance Reporting
- Prepare and maintain HR records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment laws.
Performance Metrics:
- 100% accuracy in reporting and submission of required reports before deadlines.
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on health insurance, retirement plans, and workers’ compensation.
Performance Metrics:
- 100% compliance with benefits enrollment deadlines.
- Resolve 95% of benefits inquiries within 48 hours.
Training & Development
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Performance Metrics:
- 90% completion rate for mandatory training programs.
- Organize at least three professional development workshops per year.
Payroll Processing
- Serve as backup for payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll during absences or peak periods.
Attendance
- Regular attendance is essential for maintaining operational efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
