Job Description Summary
The Athletics department is seeking a dedicated and dynamic student employee to assist with Athletic events and Intramurals. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports and recreation, has excellent organizational skills, and possesses the ability to motivate staff and participants.**This position requires a flexible schedule, primarily in the late afternoons and early evenings, Monday through Thursday.
Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Provides a professional, helpful, and welcoming atmosphere while checking in intramural participants and assisting in game operations.
- Provides some front-line level of resolution to questions or concerns while making appropriate referrals as necessary.
- Assists in officiating games and intramural sport offerings.
- Develops professional relationships with co-workers, participants, and guests.
- Responds to emergency situations and adheres to established protocols including pre- and post- incident procedures.
- Strictly honors the privacy and security of student records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
- Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Must be a currently enrolled SF student, in good academic and behavioral standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours.
Additional Requirements: A criminal background check will be conducted.

- Multi-task - Ability to expeditiously organize, coordinate, manage, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously to swiftly assess a situation, determine a logical course of action, and apply the appropriate response.
