The University of Notre Dame University Operations, Events, and Safety division is currently hiring for the position of Banquet Server with Three Leaf Catering by Notre Dame. The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

As a Banquet Server, you will be a key member of our mission by providing professional service to banquet guests while they enjoy a business lunch, family gathering, special occasion or a casual meal.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide great hospitality and customer service to our guests
- Assist with events such as buffets, served meals, and receptions
- Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food, pouring beverages and handling special requests of guests in accordance with University Operations, Events, and Safety methods and service standards
- Set, maintain and refresh all banquet meeting rooms, dining rooms and event spaces
- Follow University protocols when it comes to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with set-up and tear-down of banquet events. (Set-up includes: moving of tables, chairs, linens, A/V equipment or supplies, dance floors, bars and any other items requested by the client)
- Keep work area and equipment clean and in good working condition

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 6 months experience
- Excellent customer service skills needed in working with clientele and coworkers
