Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and organization abilities. Excellent knowledge of electronic office software, including MS Office, databases, Internet based services. Excellent knowledge of electronic calendars, calendar scheduling, electronic tracking of schedules. Ability to manage research documents (reports, papers, presentations, web page material) production. Ability to plan, organize, and execute complicated/ continuing assignments without instruction. Ability to manage multiple projects including tracking objectives & deadlines, to manage an all-electronic office and collaborative activities of large groups of scientific/ engineering personnel. Excellent knowledge of associated operations and information dissemination. Practical knowledge of fundamentals of finance and accounting for research and education sponsored programs; knowledge of basic processes for contract and grant compliance, fundamentals of industry-university collaboration and intellectual property issues and management, working knowledge of resource research methods.
