Overview

Join our growing San Diego Division as a Project Scheduler. As a Project Scheduler, you will develop, monitor and manage multiple schedules for small to medium construction projects.

What you will be doing
    Develops and manages project schedules and narratives based on production and budget information from project personnel including engineers, project managers, superintendents and estimating teams.
  • Assists in baseline scheduling for bid process by working with estimating and engineering teams to accurately identify the sequence of all project work to be performed.
  • Identifies and reports the impact of performed and delayed work by updating the Company approved schedule and financial reporting programs.
  • Evaluates and analyzes production progress and identifies possible risk to schedule or budget.
  • Provides technical expertise to resolve difficult production and schedule problems.
  • Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
  • Provides project status reports to direct manager and Project Manager for weekly and monthly project update meetings. Participates in project status preparation meetings to ensure project personnel is aware of full project status.
  • Proficient with the generation and maintenance of cost and resource loaded schedules.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company values and strategic plan.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of heavy civil construction scheduler experience.
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with others.
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
  • Primavera P6 software experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Ability to self-prioritize and self-start projects and task work.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task similar activities in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

USD $124,000.00/Yr.
Salary Max
USD $134,000.00/Yr.
Vehicle Program
* Personal Vehicle Allowance Tier I: $750 USD/month
