Position Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of Anthony's Villa, a nonprofit organization providing residential and community-based mental health services. The CEO will oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and maintaining a strong focus on client-centered care. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of executive-level experience in community mental health, with a preference for experience in residential settings. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with Anthony’s Villa’s mission and goals.
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the growth and sustainability of the organization.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set and achieve organizational goals.

Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of residential and community-based programs, ensuring quality care and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations related to mental health services and residential care.
- Lead efforts to continually improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of all programs and services.

Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- Oversee grant writing, fundraising, and development efforts to support the organization's financial needs.
- Ensure transparent financial reporting and management of all resources.

Team Development & Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and manage senior leadership and staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, professional growth, and accountability.
- Ensure staff are well-trained, supported, and aligned with organizational values and goals.

Community & Stakeholder Relations:
- Serve as the public face of Anthony’s Villa, building relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
- Advocate for the organization and the needs of clients within the broader community.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners to expand and enhance services and resources.

Program Development:
- Identify and implement new program opportunities that meet the needs of the community and advance the organization’s mission.
- Oversee the evaluation and improvement of existing programs to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Board Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, providing timely updates on organizational performance and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with the Board to ensure alignment between operational goals and strategic direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience:
- 5-10 years of executive leadership experience in a community mental health agency, with a preference for experience in residential settings.
- Proven success in managing large teams and overseeing multiple programs or facilities.
- Experience with financial management, including budgeting, fundraising, and grant management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and inspire teams toward organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the mental health and residential care sectors.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about for extended periods.
- Work environment includes typical office settings as well as residential and clinical facilities.
- Occasional travel to offsite locations for meetings, partnerships, or community outreach.
Salary Range:
Competitive and commensurate with experience.
