Minimum Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in plant breeding, agronomy, plant sciences or related field with at least one year experience in applied plant breeding or closely related field
Department Required Skills
- Experience in field plot research and experimental design
- Experience with large farm equipment
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Competency with loading, hauling and unloading plot research equipment
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- Experience in planting wheat and oats
- Experience in small grains breeding
Required License or Certification
- Valid driver’s license
