Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Facilities team as a Senior Facilities Technician. As a Senior Facilities Technician you will beresponsible for the planning, implementing, and maintaining of infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. The Senior Facilities Technician will inspect and maintain electrical distribution, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems as well as handle work orders, projects, and upgrades to keep systems in excellent working conditions.
How you will make an impact:
- Perform periodic inspections of HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance
- Diagnose causes of HVAC systems problems and identify solutions
- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot air handlers, VAV boxes, and all associated air exchangers, pumps, controls, and monitoring, etc.
- Initiate repairs, tests and adjust systems and equipment, and diagnose equipment and facility problems ensuring all equipment and systems are operating in safe and effective manner
- Responsible for compliance with quality system procedures and all regulatory requirements
- Maintain and operate a computerized maintenance program
- Support projects and minor repairs including, but not limited to patching and painting, tiling, flooring, hardware, plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry and furniture relocations
- Respond to janitorial requirements and maintain work areas and technical rooms
- Responsible for equipment startup, monitoring, and efficient operation
- Respond to facilities complaints and assist other trades as necessary
- Read and interpret drawings and control schematic
- Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Maintenance, Facilities, or equivalent trade
- 2-year degree, technical school degree or equivalent experience
- HVAC Repair Training preferred
- General electrical wiring/installation training preferred
- Experience working in a GMP environment and completion of GMP documentation
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safe work practices
- Building management systems experience (Siemens, Johnson Controls) a plus
- GMP documentation skills
- Must be able to coordinate multiple contract services simultaneously
- Good communication and organizational Skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
The anticipated salary range for this position is $42.50 - $46.25 per hour. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
