We are currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join the team and help design site development projects.

Communicate with clients to assess needs
• Assist the project manager in the preparation of proposals.
• Assist the project manager by preparing plans and reports required for the entitlement process
• Assist the project manager by preparing construction documents for building and grading permits
• Manage an intern or new grad engineer.
• Develop relationships with clients
• Assist clients with the permitting process
• Prepare cost estimates
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Preparing stormwater reports
• Successfully interfacing with multi-disciplinary design teams, including civil site design, structural, surveying, and geotechnical engineering
• Work with local and state regulatory agencies for project permitting, funding, etc.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings
  

• The successful candidate ideally has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil engineering
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of progressive design experience.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are required.
• PE licensure desired
• Driver's License

Special Skills:

• AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge and understanding preferred.

The pay range for this California position is $110,000- $120,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
