This is a benefited, full time exempt position generally working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in Hillcrest but may travel to other sites as needed.

What you'll do:
- Nuclear Medicine radiotherapy treatment patient care coordination and education
- Interventional oncology patient care coordination and education
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the assigned clinical program.
- Act as an expert clinical resource and communications liaison to physicians, office personnel, nursing staff, allied health professionals, outside agency and community resources, and patients and their families.
- Through involvement in clinical consultation and direct patient care, assesses and improves the patient care process for the program.
- Responsible for maintaining quality and regulatory standards, current and accurate policies and associated documents, serving as a link integrating relevant research, best practice and clinical delivery processes procedures and practices, all in a manner which is consistent with the Mission and Vision of Scripps Health.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- BSN.
- CA RN License.
- Two years recent clinical nursing experience in area of program specialty.
Required Certification/Registration:
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- ONS certification
- Experience in interventional oncology and/or radiotherapy treatments
- Nurse Navigator experience

Minimum Rate (USD): 61.02 - Maximum Rate (USD): 90.52
