As part of the professional programs team, this individual leads the development and implementation of National Kidney Foundation (NKF) professional education offerings, with special focus given to the management of NKF supported Project ECHO programs and professional podcasts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of Project ECHO at NKF, including but not limited to:
o Serve as the primary liaison and resource to stakeholders of Project ECHO projects, including the volunteer Hub Committee, session faculty, case presenters and learners
o Coordinate with faculty, funders, and internal staff to develop outcomes and learning objectives for Project ECHO programs
o Facilitate the curriculum development process for new Project ECHO programs
o Lead the creation of session materials, including the program within NKF’s Professional Education Resource Center, slide decks, and additional resources as needed
o Manage programs within the designated iECHO platform
o Attend all Project ECHO sessions to provide administrative and technical support
o Manage all program communication and marketing via email, website updates, and other means as necessary
- Manage NKF’s professional podcast
o Manage the NKF professional podcast planning committees, comprising of an interprofessional team of professional volunteers who contribute to monthly podcast episodes
o Coordinate the episode calendar and manage guest invitations, confirmations, and accreditation requirements
o Schedule and attend podcast recording sessions, with responsibility for facilitating the editing process after as needed
o Assist with ongoing marketing efforts to increase visibility and downloads of the podcast
o Collaborate with the patient podcast team for opportunities for crossover episodes
- Manage CE/CME programs initiated by NKF’s family of premiere journals
- Create online education/enduring programs within NKF’s Professional Education Resource Center
- Design and post regular social media content to promote program visibility and drive audience interest
- Contribute to monthly and annual outcomes reporting of professional education programs
- Provide customer service and support to learners via email and phone communication
- Performs additional duties, as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum three year’s work-related experience coordinating multiple programs at once and managing program timelines
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and meet project timelines
- Confidence leading meetings with various levels of stakeholder involvement
- Comfortable learning and working in new technology platforms, audio/video editing experience is a plus
- Experience hosting virtual events, familiarity with Zoom preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Word applications
- Flexible to attend programs taking place on multiple days, in multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare professional volunteers
- Experience in developing program outcomes, learning objectives, and program curricula
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and continuing education principles
- Knowledge of learning management systems

WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION
Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed. Available for overnight business travel. Must have a valid driver’s license.
