This is a Full Time, benefits-eligible position with an 8-hour evening shift, working 64 hours per pay period.

Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse in our 36-bed Psychiatric Acute Unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care for patients with behavioral health needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct patient care, including observation and management of psychiatric patients.
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing care while continuously evaluating patients' progress toward expected outcomes.
  • Taking primary responsibility for coordinating care delivered by the interdisciplinary Care Team.
  • Managing de-escalation of behavioral disturbances and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.

This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives of up to $7K.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

* Must remain in original department/specialty

* Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications Required Experience & Specialized Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate positive, compassionate behaviors in patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
