Job Description:

Adjunct Instructors Needed for 2025

Subject area: Engineering and Physics

The Engineering and Physics department offers courses that support majors in Engineering Transfer, Electrical Engineering Transfer, Biomedical Engineering and Energy Utility. These courses/programs prepare students for careers in Engineering and Energy Industries, as well as for further study at four-year institutions.

Faculty are needed for:

ENR 101: Introduction to Engineering. This course provides an overview of the engineering profession. Topics to be discussed include fields of study within engineering; the engineering profession, including engineering ethics; and engineering design and problem-solving. Emphasis is on team building and a teamwork approach to engineering projects.
Class Meets 3 hrs. lecture - 3 hrs. lab.


Requirements:

  • A post-graduate degree or equivalent industrial experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or (other) engineering field required. A related science/technology discipline or a clinical discipline may be considered in combination with applicable experience.
  • Experience teaching engineering at the college level.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations.


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397 Per Credit Hour
