Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Technical Project Manager at San Diego, California

The PM will work in support of Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC-PAC) and the U.S. Navy's Maritime Unmanned Systems program, this person leads a highly experienced and skilled team in providing technical, logistical, training, and programmatic assistance. Support spans from global operations and fleet support to capability development, and includes Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) and Mine Hunting Unit (MHU) operations, Marine Mammal Depot Support, and R&D Engineering lines of effort.

What you'll do:

    Provide leadership to managers and professional staff
  • Manage multiple related teams, set departmental priorities, and allocate resources to align with business objectives and annual plan
  • Monitor program performance and take corrective actions, as necessary
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans/schedules, manage interdependencies and coordinate information hand-offs
  • Meet contract and program requirements and interface with government contract and program personnel
Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
  • Three years of operational experience in a leadership role with unmanned systems
  • Ability to identify and solve complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging appropriate resources
  • Proficient in MS Office products, to include Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Hold a valid U.S. Passport and be willing to execute foreign travel, as necessary
  • Clearance: must posses an active SECRET clearance

Preferred:

  • PMP certification

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
