An internship at ASML is a great opportunity to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide hands on experience solving real world problems in a team environment. We are looking for a candidate who can help develop next generation methods for engineering analysis of Multiphysics problems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern and current needs of ASML analysis team, e.g. Reduced Order Modeling (ROM), Machine Learning, uncertainty quantification (UQ), CFD post-processing.
- Work in a team environment alongside experienced engineers to achieve intern project goals.
- Document project and present the results to ASML analysis stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science or similar discipline. Masters or PhD, preferred.
- Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics.
- Experience using OpenFOAM/ SnappyHexMesh or StarCCM+ , COMSOL software.
- Experience in Physics-Informed Neural Network, Machine Learning frameworks .
- Have strong written and oral communicative skills.
- Be a demonstrated "team player" with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
Other Information
- This position is located on-site in Enter Location, i.e. Chandler, AZ . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
- A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $18.00 - $56.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
