Job Description

Position Summary: The Account Executive is the representative responsible for understanding and representing our products, services, and solutions to small to medium size revenue clients. The Account Executive is responsible for managing inbound leads, or assisting with franchise business as applicable, retaining existing clients and recognizing growth opportunities. The Account Executive is responsible for promoting sales and continued client satisfaction in creative and effective ways to retain existing business, close opportunities and meet the clients marketing and budget needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through sales activity and effective phone and web/video presentations to existing clients and prospects (60%):
    • Building strong partnerships and sales strategies with existing and new clients through understanding of their business and marketing/advertising initiatives;
    • Understanding of Print products and solutions and the value they provide to a client's operations. Engage other Vericast product sales experts to propose optimum customer solutions
    • Effectively communicate how best to promote Company products and services to best fit a client or prospective client's needs.
  • Maintain and grow customer accounts by (30%):
    • Ensuring flawless implementation of products, services, and solutions;
    • Remaining point of contact to ensure client's concerns are addressed
  • Provide accurate and timely reports and forecasting as required by Company(10%)

Qualifications

Education & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree preferably in the fields of Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience / Skills and Competencies:

  • 3+ years in a sales role; prospecting experience desired. Will consider applicable Vericast Account Management experience
  • Media experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to determine and resolve issues and implications.
  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Ability to educate stakeholders/audiences resulting in closed/won business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients while seeking new opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn system

Communication & Contacts (Internal/External):

  • Communication with clients and internal co-workers - all levels of management, business leadership, customers, suppliers and other internal/external entities as required

Decision Making Scope:

  • Ability to make recommendations and bring out-of-box recommendations to clients and areas that support sales (ie: targeting, marketing and pricing)
  • Requires broad conceptual judgment and ability to deal with complex factors

Other:

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Potential for minor travel (ie: internal meetings).


Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $55,000-65,000/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
