This position is a CONTRACT and ONSITE position with the possibility of extension/career conversion.
The Project Manager (PM) collaborates with UCSD Health executives, physicians, and teams to execute strategic vision and operational priorities. The PM will manage the project from conception through execution and sustainment, solve problems, analyze data, and make recommendations to achieve organizational goals. Understanding and incorporating the principles of Change Management is critical to success in this role. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to execute assigned projects on time and within budget. Uses project management tools, skills and methodology to drive results. The PM will exhibit exceptional presentation and communication skills. The PM will be dedicated to one project involving the transition to a new timekeeping and scheduling system, UKG, from current systems. This will involved mapping current state, understanding varied processes, developing standard work, and leading improvement efforts to stabilize prior to transition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSeven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience: Lean six sigma improvement or formal project management experience.
Experience and proven success in change management and improvement field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions.
Has thorough knowledge of the project management field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized interventions.
Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, project planning and implementation skills.
Skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to learn quickly, reason, synthesize and generalize based on information obtained.
Project management support for software go live experience.
Patient flow care management (PFCM) experience.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $85,400 - $156,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $40.90 - $75.10
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
