Summary of Position

The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law (UNH Franklin Pierce) a national leader in legal education with a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and quality engagement for all, seeks to hire multiple tenure and non-tenure track professors to teach in our residential, non-residential, and graduate programs to begin in August 2025. UNH Franklin Pierce has a number of curricular needs but is particularly interested in candidates with subject-matter expertise and scholarship in Intellectual Property, Civil Procedure, Contracts, Property, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Privacy and Data Protection. Both first-time faculty and lateral faculty are welcome to apply. Remote positions may be available from certain geographic locations upon request. Acceptable Minimum Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • The interest in and ability to teach in an innovative environment, both in-person and online.
  • A dedication to mentoring students both on campus and remotely.
  • Demonstrated skill in scholarly writing, with a record of publishing in law reviews and law journals and an evident capacity for growth.
  • Practice and teaching experience and a demonstrated commitment to service both within the law school and in regional, state, national and/or international arenas.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusive excellence and diversity.
  • Ability to effectively work with our rapidly expanding and diverse student population.

Additional Preferred Qualifications


  • Ability to use CANVAS, D2L, Brightspace, or other technology for delivery of online education.
  • Admission to a bar and legal practice experience.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in the bar, including state and national involvement.
