Position Summary 
Reporting to the Director of Faculty Administrative Support, the Faculty 
Administrative Coordinator is responsible for helping maintain all Gabelli School 
of Business (GSB) full-time faculty operational and administrative activities 
handled by the Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty 
Development at GSB. 
 
Essential Functions 
Maintains the Masterfile database of full-time faculty research publications 
and coordinates meetings between the Associate Dean and the Research
Committee as necessary. 
Completes all tasks related to the visiting scholar’s program, including 
submitting requests for invitation letters, maintaining a list of visitors, 
arranging access, and collaborating with the budget office on processing 
fees or stipends. 
Assists with updating and managing the faculty webpages and resource 
guidebooks for all GSB faculty. 
 
Essential Functions Note

The University may assign additional related duties as necessary. 
 
Additional Functions 
Serves as an administrative backup for academic areas and assists with 
administrative tasks such as but not limited to reserving rooms using 
25Live, organizing events, making copies, handling correspondence, and 
placing food orders, maintaining and updating the faculty travel Masterfile 
and database lists. 
Supports the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development and 
the Director of Faculty Administrative Support with special projects and 
maintains regular meetings with the Director to enhance the efficiency and 
effectiveness of the responsibilities undertaken. 
 
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience 
Bachelor’s degree 
Minimum of two years’ experience (can be part-time) of work experience in 
an academic, business, or other office setting. 
 
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills 
Fluency with Google and Microsoft Suites 
Excellent communication skills, including professional business writing 
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
Customer service focus 
Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to 
the goals of Jesuit Education. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
Strong organizational skills 
Must have clear and effective communication skills 
Ability to work independently, proficiency with software applications, 
including Microsoft Word and Google Docs 
Must be able to handle confidential information and discreetly process 
sensitive information ethically 
 
Minimum Starting Salary: $59,000 
 
Maximum Starting Salary: $61,000 
 
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
