Job Description for One-Eighty Therapist

Organization Mission: ONE-EIGHTY Programs is a faith-based non-profit focused on providing a safe and fun place for at-risk teenagers, as well as a mentoring program in Lodi, CA. ONE-EIGHTY Counseling & Resources (C&R) is the
Professional Counseling Services offered under the umbrella of One-Eighty, providing services to the community at large.

Title: One-Eighty Counselor

Reports to: Executive Director, Counseling & Resources and Counseling &
Resources Clinical Director

Job Duties for Intensive Outpatient Program

1. Develop & implement curriculum

2. Responsible for the mental health and physical safety of 10 students per quarter while on One-Eighty Campus

3. Provide Intake Material and communication with parents

4. Responsible with money and One-Eighty deposit processes

5. Comply with grants and the data needed to keep and get grants

6. Help with the job readiness team, in communication and scheduling

7. Help with marketing of the IOP

School Site Therapy—Individuals &/or Groups:

1. Support on-site school counselor by providing individual therapy, mental health assessments, and/or group counseling as directed.

2. Facilitate Why Try Groups or specific topic groups as needed with professionalism and care. (Why Try Training will be provided if applicable.)

Counselor Attributes:
1. Because of the gang population in Lodi, C&R Counselors must have a proven commitment to Compassion, Forgiveness, Justice/Advocacy and Acceptance.

Requirements:
CA Registered Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, PPS, or LPCC Degree in School Counseling.

Generic Schedule: (Start Date—ASAP)
32 hours per week, 44-46 weeks per year (in conjunction with the LUSD district calendar); +15 additional training hours

Compensation: $31+ per hour, depending upon Licensing, the need for supervision and experience.

Supervision: Provided by C&R, if needed. For those with a master's degree, supervision is paid.

Certification: Why Try Training, Too Good for Drugs and the Parent Project will be paid by C&R, as they apply to the job. (Not to be used with other organizations.)
