- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, counseling, or related field as well as an additional 10 plus years of experience required, OR Master’s Degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies/tools
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work efficiently and with careful attention to detail
- Experience working with emerging adults, and diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Experience working with college students ideally in an advising capacity
- Understanding of issues facing college students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience using directed communication tools
- Experience in creating and making presentations
- Experience coordinating events
