Job Description
Position Summary
The Accounting Program at Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria, is seeking applications to teach one or both of the following face-to-face courses: Bookkeeping 2 and Payroll Accounting beginning for fall and spring semesters. The accounting program is designed to prepare students for a variety of beyond entry-level positions such as office manager, accounting supervisor, cost accountant, tax preparer, financial student analyst, auditor, and commercial banker.

Essential Functions and Qualifications
Applicants should be proficient in financial accounting, managerial accounting, tax accounting, and computer applications used in the accounting process.
Industry experience.Minimum Qualifications
Master’s in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration
OR
Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis
AND
Master’s in business, business administration, business education, economics, taxation, finance or the equivalent
(NOTE: A bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration, with a CPA license is an alternative qualification for this discipline.)Additional Information

Lecture Rate: $65.74 to $86.44 per hour depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $57.27 to $75.26 per hour depending upon education and experience
Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending upon education and experience
