POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Corporate Vice President of Private Label & Smallwares reports to the EVP PMO
  • Located in San Diego, CA, Lewisville, TX, Mansfield, MA

The Corporate Vice President of Private Label & Smallwares, with extensive experience, holds a key executive role responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership, and oversight to the entire private label business division. This position requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record in shaping and executing successful private label strategies, driving business growth, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive, forward-thinking strategy for the private label business division, aligning with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to guide the private label division towards sustained growth and market leadership.

Portfolio Optimization and Expansion:

  • Oversee the optimization, expansion, and diversification of the entire private label product portfolio.
  • Drive initiatives to maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction within the private label segment.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key private label clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the private label client base through strategic partnerships.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of private label strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative organizational culture that encourages innovation and excellence.

Market Analysis and Innovation:

  • Conduct rigorous market analysis to identify emerging trends, market gaps, and growth opportunities in the private label sector.
  • Drive a culture of innovation in product development, ensuring the private label portfolio remains at the forefront of industry trends.

Financial Management and Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop and manage budgets for private label initiatives, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Implement robust performance monitoring mechanisms to assess the success and impact of private label strategies.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Effectively communicate the private label strategy, performance updates, and future plans to executive leadership, shareholders, and relevant stakeholders.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven ability to develop and execute a compelling vision for the private label business division.
  • Extensive experience in providing transformative leadership at an executive level, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with private label clients.
  • In-depth understanding of private label market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong financial management skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding financial objectives.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated passion for innovation in private label product development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, MBA preferred, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in executive leadership roles within private label management, product development, or related areas.
  • Proven track record of successfully shaping and executing private label strategies that drive significant business growth.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
